Bi-Color Lepidolite Specimen

Lepidolite is a mica-group mineral, or phyllosilicate, with the formula K(Li,Al)₃(Al,Si,Rb)₄O₁₀(F,OH)₂. Its pink coloring comes from the manganese inclusions in its chemical structure. Named for the amount of lithium in its chemical structure, lepidolite is actually the most common lithium-bearing mineral on Earth!
