Aragonite is awesome! A high-pressure form of calcium carbonate [CaCO₃], aragonite forms can form through both biologic and physical processes. Often found in deep-sea settings and/or associated with high-grade metamorphic rocks in subduction zones, these aragonite "star" clusters are a great addition to any collection.
